THE ENGAGEMENT

The proposal defines capacity, priorities, and how requests are handled.

Capacity and priorities: Agree capacity and priorities before the first cycle. Break larger requests into reviewable tasks; the retainer does not include unlimited work.
Requests and reviews: Use a shared backlog with a brief and reviewer for each request. Agree how often reviews happen and how feedback is collected.
Changes in the workload: If requests exceed capacity, reprioritize the queue or agree a revised scope before adding work.
