Student pre-orders
A Progressive Web App for ordering before pickup and receiving food-ready notifications.
A campus food-ordering platform connecting Mahindra University students with kitchen teams, from pre-order to pickup.

The platform needed to connect student ordering with kitchen preparation and pickup without disrupting campus operations.

Students and kitchen staff need different views of the same order. The design separates placing and collecting an order from coordinating its preparation.
The student interface runs as a Progressive Web App. The high-contrast kitchen display brings incoming orders together for staff.
Students can pre-order from their dorms and receive a notification when food is ready. The flow includes a payment step that the operator can enable when online payments are available.
The Kitchen Display System (KDS) updates orders in real time so staff can coordinate preparation.
